The fact that a Western country is inspecting religious books for being in line with democratic laws is a major breakthrough. We should all forward this example to relevant politicians in our country and ask them to check the Quran as well.
Finland is going to examine whether a book by Jehovah’s Witnesses is in line with Finnish rule of law. I suggest that Finland and all other Western countries do the same with the Quran. Or do they not dare to?

Proposed ordinance doesn't create conflict peoples faith including Jehovah's witnesses
Religious freedom is a fundamental American value, the first liberty protected in the Bill of Rights of the U.S. Constitution. From our country's founding, we have guarded the right to believe and to worship - or not - according to individual conscience without interference from the state.
The result is that religion flourishes in our society as in no other, as demonstrated by Texas' own example. According to the Texas Almanac, Texas communities include Protestants, Catholics, Orthodox Christians, Jews, Muslims, Buddhists, Hindus, Mormons, Jehovah's Witnesses, Sikhs and Unitarian Universalists. Each adherent enjoys the right to participate in civic life without fear of being marginalized or excluded because of government favoritism for any one sect.
Two Jehovah's Witnesses gain millions for spearheading blood management program
Prof Loff made the call after The Sunday Times revealed last week that WA’s PBM program – aimed at cutting blood transfusions to patients in public hospitals – was spearheaded by two Jehovah’s Witnesses.
Prof Loff, who has been on the World Health Organisation’s ethical review committee and the Australian Health Ethics Committee, said it was very important to maintain public confidence in the sensitive area of blood transfusion.
Convicted paedophile allowed to interrogate victims at Jehovah's Witnesses meeting
A Jehovah's Witness elder who was convicted of abusing young girls was allowed to publicly cross-examine his victims at a meeting arranged by the church.
Jonathan Rose, 40, was convicted of molesting the women when they were aged five and ten.
He was jailed for nine months in October last year.
But after his release the victims – who were members of his Jehovah’s Witness group – and a third woman were told that if they wanted him barred from the church they had to relive their ordeal in front of elders.

Pope of Egypt claims ; Jehovah's Witnesses are unchristian, illegal sect
Pope Tawadros II denounced the Jehovah's Witnesses sect in a television interview on Sunday, describing it as "unchristian".
"The Jehovah's Witnesses sect is unchristian, illegal and originally a Zionist movement," said the head of the Coptic Orthodox Church in a joint interview Sunday night conducted by three Egyptian Christian TV channels.
Such bombastic statement at witnesses is not uncommon. Many people denounce them as such. Some even refer to them as a cult.

Expert Views on the Right of Conscientious Objection
Before you read and watch this video on JW.ORG, think about it whether matters of conscience is all about military service.
Some have already expressed their frustration about loosing their loved ones due to watchtower's strict instrument to shun people who leave the faith based on matters of conscience like failed prophecies, blood transfusion, doctrinal changes, child abuse scandals etc.

Part 1- is about how the society lull human rights gurus onto their side
Part 2 is an appeal to human rights commissioner to look into this hideous practice among Jehovah's Witnesses.
Perhaps you may not be aware that lots of ex- witnesses have committed suicide because of this practice. We can only hope the society changes its stand on matters of conscience.
JW Library App- A Portable Library
On October 7, 2013, Jehovah’s Witnesses released a mobile device app for Bible reading and study called JW Library. This free Bible app features six English translations of the Bible, including the King James Version and the 2013 revision of the New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures.
Why and How it has assisted Bible study is described in an article on JW.ORG
It was produced to take advantage of the upsurge in the use of smart devices and tablet in modern time. Also it doesn't require internet connection.
For your information the society is late in this course since there are numerous Bible study apps in the business. Some contain as much as 150 versions in many languages.
Eg. YOUversion, Olivetree ,Logos and E-Sword etc
It is good news users can compare the New World world Translation with other versions especially the Greek texts, since others have expressed concerns about bias and mistranslation in the NWT.
On top of it all , the app is free!!
Why Reject Pornography? YOUNG PEOPLE ASK Review
If you use the Internet, expect that sooner or
later you will encounter some type of pornography. “You don’t even have
to look for it anymore,” says 17-year-old Hayley. “It looks for you.”
Pornography can tempt even those who are
determined to avoid it. “I told myself that I wouldn’t let my guard
down, but I did,” says Greg, 18. “You can never say it won’t happen to
you.”
Today, pornography is easier to access than ever before. And with the advent of sexting, many teens manufacture and distribute their own pornography.
Yes the above comments are very true but in an attempt to dispel myths and erect facts about pornography the slave class is being bias or perhaps ignorant above the reality.
Myths and facts
Myth: Pornography won’t hurt me.
Yes, very true. It's a myth because it can really hurt you.
Myth: Pornography can teach you about sex.
The commentary says; Pornography teaches you about greed. It reduces people to mere objects
and implies that they exist solely for your selfish pleasure. Not
surprisingly, one study concluded that those who habitually view
pornography are less likely to experience sexual fulfillment after marriage.
This is where the slave gets it wrong. Whiles I am not encouraging porn on this site it is very clear that porn teaches sex moves and techniques well. No wonder Jehovah's Witnesses who never had a taste of what the outside has to offer are suffering marital divorce due to sex.
Myth: Those who reject pornography are just prudish about sex.
The fact is some are. They know nothing about how to turn their mates on.
Well done, SLAVE for discouraging pornography but you get it wrong on the facts.

What people say about The New World Translation of The Holy Scriptures
The New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures (NWT) is a translation of the Bible published by the Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society in 1961; it is used and distributed by Jehovah's Witnesses.[4] Though it is not the first Bible to be published by the group, it is their first original translation of ancient Classical Hebrew, Koine Greek, and Old Aramaic biblical texts. As of February 2014, the Watch Tower Society has published 208 million copies of the New World Translation in 122 language editions.

A conversation with Jehovah's Witnesses; An atheist gets his first experience with Jehovah's Witnesses
See who drove home the point in this discussion between an atheist and Jehovah's Witnesses. Enjoy some humor.
My first Jehovah's Witnesses!
As a break from my preparation for final exams yesterday, my wife brought me a nice little present: Jehovah's Witnesses at the door.
I have heard many stories about JWs bothering people at home, but I've never had the good fortune to be visited by any myself. When the doorbell rang, Ginny peered out the window and said "Oh Russell, you'd better get that." "Really? Who is it?" I asked.

A conversation with Jehovah's Witnesses; Is the Watchtower society's literature inspired?
This was a conversation that ensued between two Jehovah's Witnesses and a householder as told by Daniel Rodriguez. See who made sense.
Late this morning, I had the opportunity to talk to two Jehovah's Witnesses, a mother and daughter. I asked them how long they had been in The Watchtower Society. "Over 35 years," they said. I then got them to admit that the Watchtower Society literature was not inspired.
I continued my strategy by using a third person story. I told them: "I got an email from a friend. He insisted that God's Day is on Saturday. I asked him where he learned that information. He replied, ‘From our church literature.'"
Since I believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God, I asked him if his publications were inspired of God just as the Bible was. He told me "No." Then I said, "Well, which has more purpose and value, your uninspired publications, or the inspired Word of God?" He admitted it was the Word of God.
The two stood there not having a clue that I was laying the groundwork to make a point about the Watchtower publications.
The daughter pulled out a copy of What Does The Bible Really Teach? I asked her if that book was inspired just like the Bible. She mentioned some obscure thing about the Bereans.
I said, "The Bereans were for that time; what about now? Is that book inspired like the Bible is?"
Naturally, I expected her to pull out her Bible and go to II Timothy 3:16. Lo and behold. . . she did. She tried to use that scripture to justify the What Does The Bible Really Teach? book. It didn't work.
I said to the daughter, "Look. There are three of us standing here. Let's say, for example, I am God. You are a Bible writer and mom, you are the Bible reader." Then I recited John 3:16 to the daughter. "I just inspired you what to write, right? You wrote it down and thousands of years later, mom, you read it. You just read an inspired work.
"Now, let's pretend I (God) am not even here. So, daughter, when you write something, where are you getting your information? You see, you are making it up. It is not inspired because God did not tell you what to write. Do you see my concern?"
They were speechless and made small unrelated comments. Then she mentioned that a committee of people wrote the book. I asked her if she knew their qualifications and education.
She said, "No." I then said, "I see red flags. If these ‘unknown' people, who are not inspired, taught something that later proved to be wrong, how would you feel? Will you go to all the homes you have visited and undo the damage?
The meeting ended on a very positive note. But it was evident that they were a little frustrated with me because I kept the pressure on. The meeting lasted about an hour. All in all, I am pleased at the seeds that were planted. I have a feeling I'm going to see them again —or their Elder. This may become very interesting.

Is Jehovah the Watchtower's friends? A review of the February 15 2014 Study Article
A delicious article which was discussed throughout all congregations of Jehovah's Witnesses around the globe based on the February 15 edition of the watchtower demands intense scrutiny in order to get the picture very clear who really is God's friend. It is very true that Abraham was a very good friend of God according to the bible. God revealed a lot of accurate information to Abraham because he was his close friend. What about the watchtower? Have they given irrefutable proof that they are God's friends? For your information the society is notoriously known for making false predictions and churning out what end up to be untrue all in the name of their friend Jehovah.
REMEMBER that it is slander which the study article profusely talk about as a poisonous attitude, which "Failure to heed....inspired counsel" to avoid "would create a gap between us and our righteous heavenly Father. In fact, slander is a characteristic of Jehovah’s great enemy, Satan. The term “Devil” is derived from a Greek word meaning “slanderer. We can not spare the watchtower for taking Jehovah's name in vain. Now look up the meaning of slander in a dictionary and see if watchtower have been a faithful friend of God.
Interestingly the article claims that Material releases at conventions and assemblies are clear evidence that Jehovah is providing for our needs. The truth of the matter is that the Bible is for everyone who want to benefit. Life changing articles can be found on numerous websites. It is just a matter of being fearless to log onto the web.

Review of Daily Text Friday, May 9 2014
Jehovah felt regrets that he had made men in the earth, and he felt hurt at his heart.—Gen. 6:6.
“I was devastated,” says one sister whose daughter was disfellowshipped. It may be difficult for those who have never experienced such a loss to appreciate how devastating it can be. Nevertheless, it would be unwise to let the improper course of a disfellowshipped family member distance you from Jehovah. How, then, can you cope with the profound grief that arises when a family member leaves Jehovah? Do not blame yourself for what happened. Jehovah has put a choice before humans, and each dedicated and baptized family member must “carry his own load” of responsibility. (Gal. 6:5) Ultimately, Jehovah holds the sinner—not you—responsible for his or her choice. (Ezek. 18:20) Also, do not blame others. Respect Jehovah’s arrangement for discipline. Take your stand against the Devil—not against shepherds who act to protect the congregation.—1 Pet. 5:8, 9. w13 1/15 2:16-18
Notice that the paragraph describes disfellowshipping and its tragic consequences as Jehovah's arrangement. If that were true why isn't the word disfellowship clearly in scripture? Why did it come to be used first in 1952 after criticizing other religions for using it a weapon to hold their members? Yes it is very true that unrepentant sinners be disciplined according to the bible but the extremes as proposed by the watchtower is unacceptable.

Tech tenants and non-techies alike are lining up for office space down the hill in DUMBO – in former Bible-printing plants that belonged until recently to the Jehovah's Witnesses. The Jehovah's Witnesses have been selling off their massive real estate holdings in Brooklyn Heights and DUMBO in recent years as part of a plan to move their headquarters upstate. Properties they're continuing to hold onto – which have developers drooling – include prime residential buildings along the Promenade in Brooklyn Heights and a massive parking lot at 85 Jay St. in DUMBO that's zoned for residential development.

50 Cent Dubbed Over Jehovah’s Witnesses Telling Deaf People to Stop Masturbating
Just when you thought the Internet had given us, everything, there is
a video that exists of 50 Cent’s classic rap anthem “In Da Club” dubbed
over Jehovah’s Witnesses.
Jehovah’s Witnesses who happen to be using sign language, obviously.
In a fervent attempt to encourage deaf people to stop masturbating.
Not that there’s anything we can or need to add to this brilliance, but:
Yes, someone made this. Watch it and laugh hysterically now …
Masturbation is no go area for Jehovah Witnesses who consider the practice as uncleanness. Even though some secretly indulge in the trill of deliberate sexual stimulation, an active member risk being disfellowshipped and shunned if it comes to the attention of the elders in charge.
